After being weathered out yesterday things have improved

After being weathered out yesterday things have improved some and are forecasted to continue to improve. The ROV was just deployed and the plan is to go seep hunting in Veatch Canyon. The Okeanos Explorer initially identified this site last November with our multibeam sonar and has passed over the area twice more and confirmed gas in the water column. It appears in the sonar data that the seep is originating in about 1500 meters of water
