Dive 02: Instrument Recoveries at Keahole

NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer is on station at Keahole, off the west coast of the Big Island of Hawai’i and the ROV Deep Discoverer has just arrived at the seafloor at ~385 m. Today’s dive will focus on recovering several previously deployed instruments, making observations on nearby previously marked colonies, and spending any remaining time exploring the surrounding environment.
