Dive 06: Ellis Seamount

ROV Deep Discoverer is currently in the water and descending to the summit of Ellis Seamount at 2250m. The summit forms a ridge in the northeast-southwest direction and today’s dive will survey a completely unexplored area for corals and sponges. This is the first dive ever conducted on Ellis Seamount – join us on the seafloor to see what we discover!
