Dive 19: Esmerelda Bank Crater

Today is our LAST dive of this leg! Join us as we explore Esmerelda Crater, an active volcano. Today’s dive started  ~340 meters in the center of the crater to look for hydrothermal activity however poor visibility has us moving the ROV to a new site where we saw an anomaly in the water column last night (a new vent site?). We should be back down on the seafloor soon – tune in and see what we find!
