Dive 11

Today’s dive in the north forarc was originally planned on what we thought to be a potential mud volcano. Overnight    multibeam mapping showed us that the feature we planned to dive on was actually a ridge feature. This is a great example of why we collect  high resolution bathymetry of the seafloor! Stay tuned to the live video feeds as we conduct the first ever ROV dive on this newly mapped feature!
