Dive 03: Te Kawhiti a Maui Potiki

After a full successful day of mapping, we are ready to dive again! This next dive will be along a ridge that runs parallel to the Manihiki Plateau, at a site we are informally calling “Te Kawhiti a Maui Potiki.” The dive should begin around around 8:30 am SST (3:30 pm EDT), to a depth of approximately 2,200 meters. We will also perform water column transects on this dive.
